What is APIEL? | The Appalachian Public Interest and Environmental Law Conference (APIEL) is an annual gathering of lawyers, scientists, students, and members of the general public. The Conference has been held each year since 2010. |
When is APIEL? | This year’s Conference is on Saturday, October 1, 2022. The Conference will run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by a social event at Albright Grove at 6:00 PM. |
How do I sign up? | To register, please use the boxes above. There are two registration forms depending on whether you are an attorney, non-attorney, or student. |
What if I can’t attend in-person? | That’s okay! We understand that COVID-19 is still a very real threat and that there may be plenty reasons why someone is unable to attend in-person. So, we are offering an option for attendees to join by Zoom, too! |
Does this event provide CLE credit? | Yes! APIEL is a CLE Conference, meaning that APIEL provides attorneys with an opportunity to get Continuing Legal Education credit hours. This Conference plans to provide 6 hours of CLE credit (5 general credits, 1 dual credit). |
How much does APIEL cost? | APIEL costs $80 for attorneys seeking CLE credit and $20 for those not seeking CLE credit. Additionally, APIEL is free to speakers, students, and volunteers. |
