Welcome to the 16th Annual Appalachian Public Interest Environmental Law Conference
Mission Statement: APIEL is an annual gathering of lawyers, scientists, students, and members of the general public to discuss environmental issues and happenings in Appalachia, public policy, and grassroots initiatives. We aim to not only inform lawyers on the local areas of need but also how they can positively engage with their community to be forces of change in the legal realm.
Location: APIEL is held at the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law building, located at 1505 Cumberland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37996.
